Xiangrong Louis Lu [相荣 ]

I am currently a final undergraduate MEng in Biomedical Engineering (4YFT) student at Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College London, I am a visiting student at The Stevens Group at Department of Physiology, Anatomy & Genetics, University of Oxford, and also an undergraduate researcher (UROP) at Yang Lab at Imperial-X, Imperial College London.

I am currently looking for an MRes/PhD opportunity in Bioengineering, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, or Stem Cells. Please get in touch if there is any advice/recommendation/opportunity!

Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Organoid Engineering, and Neuroscience

I am interested in the application of biomaterials in high-throughput cerebral organoid fabrication and vascularisation, and the implementation of microfluidic devices in organoid patterning. I am also looking forward to participating in projects in neuroscience or brain modelling.
In the future, I envision myself working on deriving a versatile platform to model brain neural activities from both biological and computational approaches.
